RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Day shift position working 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Full-time schedule
• 2 positions available
• Every third or fourth weekend required
• On-call requirement as scheduled in collaboration with other staff
• Care for patients undergoing cardiac caths, peripherals, TAVR, devices, and similar procedures
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 patient to 4 staff members (2 nurses and 2 techs)
• Dress code: Galaxy blue
• Provide routine and complex nursing care, practicing independently in the clinical setting
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care given
• Assess and address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Provide patient and family education, identifying issues and available resources
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty or critical care setting preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
• RN license in state of employment or compact license required
