CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Friday shift: 12:00 PM to 12:30 AM
• Saturday and Sunday shifts: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• No on-call required
• Weekend availability required
• Daily caseload of 80 to 90 patients per 24 hours
• Work with a patient population including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Perform CT imaging including abdomen, brain perfusion, carotid, cervical, chest, coronary CTA, head, lumbar, musculoskeletal trauma, myelography, pelvis, sinuses, soft tissue neck, thoracic, and vascular CTA
• Perform and assist with aspirations, biopsies, and drainage procedures
• Preparation and administration of contrast media required
• Starting peripheral IVs required
• Operate Siemens CT equipment
• Charting experience required using McKesson and Cerner systems
• PACS experience required
• Radiation safety knowledge required
• Work in a 2-room CT department with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, interpretation services, radiology, and rapid response teams
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS, and active Maryland license
