Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts in an acute care setting
• Care for 5 to 6 patients requiring inpatient hospitalization for medical or surgical issues and procedures
• Nurse to patient ratio of 5-6:1
• Must be willing to work every other weekend or one weekend shift per week (Saturday and Sunday)
• Float to all med surg remote tele units on 2nd and 3rd floor as needed
• Occasional float to PCU required if needed
• Minimum of 1 year acute care experience required
• EKG competency required
• Meditech charting experience required
• Utilize equipment including Pyxis medication station, Meditech charting, Alaris IV pumps, and remote telemetry system
• Dress code: Navy blue
• 2 to 3 shifts of orientation on the floor plus 8 hours of hospital orientation on a Monday
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
