CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour day shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM
• Friday through Sunday schedule
• 1 year of experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Patient ratio of 3 patients on weekends
• Perform CT imaging procedures including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and sinuses with and/or without contrast
• Perform advanced procedures including brain perfusion, carotid studies, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, and vascular chest studies
• Perform interventional procedures including aspirations, biopsies, abscess drainages, and chest tube placements
• Conduct 3D rendering techniques including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering
• Administer and prepare contrast media and perform radiation safety protocols
• Perform IV starts, iSTAT creatinine, and PPAC procedures (training available if necessary)
• Operate Siemens 64 Definition Somatom AS and Siemens 128 x.cite equipment
• Siemens experience required
• Procedural experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Treat patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Patient diagnoses include cancer, bariatric, orthopedic, trauma, stroke, general, and geriatric cases
• May be floated to other campuses as needed
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS, RT-R-CT
