ICU RN Job in Asheville, NC

You'll work as an RN in a 12-bed Neuroscience ICU at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting September 21, 2026, with a schedule of three 12-hour night shifts per week (6:45 PM to 7:15 AM).

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with a 1:2 patient ratio in the neuroscience ICU
• Care for neurology post-thrombectomy, TPA, and post-neurosurgery patients
• Perform and assist with advanced procedures including CRRT, bedside EVDs, and A-line monitoring
• Document care using the Cerner electronic health record system
• Operate Baxter infusion pumps
• Float to other ICU or step-down units as needed

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Prior ICU experience required
• NIHSS, ACLS, and BLS certifications
• Advanced neurology ICU nursing skills preferred
• Navy blue scrubs required

Assignment Details

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week with self-scheduling (unit needs consideration required)
• Six weekend shifts per scheduling period required
• Weekly pay: $2,094
• 91-day contract
