ED RN Job in Smyrna, TN

You'll work as an RN in a 39-bed Emergency Department at Stonecrest Medical Center in Smyrna, TN. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting September 3, 2026, with a schedule of three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM). You'll earn $1,791 weekly.

Your role includes managing a 4:1 patient ratio with surge bed coverage assigned to each section. You'll work alongside a free lead, unit clerk, behavioral health sitters, paramedics, EMTs, and LPNs. Every other weekend is required as part of the scheduling rotation.

You must bring strong critical care skills, including experience with:

• Critical care drips and sedation management
• ESI triage and code response
• STEMI, Stroke, and Sepsis protocols
• Trauma experience (preferred)

You'll perform or assist with procedures such as intubation, chest tube insertion, and splinting. The unit uses advanced equipment including Rapid Infuser and Glidescope. Documentation is managed through Meditech EDM.

Required certifications are BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI. You'll wear charcoal grey scrubs as your uniform. The ED culture emphasizes teamwork and personalized patient care.
