Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (3x12 schedule)
• Block scheduling potential but not guaranteed
• Weekend requirement includes 4 weekend shifts per 6-week period (2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays), along with 3 Mondays and 3 Fridays
• No requested time off approved between 12/15/2026 and 1/5/2027
• Travel partners are not allowed
• Minimum 1.5 years of Telemetry experience required
• Experience with pre-cardiac cath and managing ports required
• Travel experience required
• Active Kentucky or compact nursing license required at time of submission
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• EPIC charting experience required
• Patient ratio experience of 5 to 6 patients
• May float between campuses and to Observation, Med/Surg, and Med/Surg Tele units as needed
• Will support ED boarders across the system — patients waiting for an inpatient bed who require inpatient care
• If insufficient boarders are present, will float to observation units
• Contracted staff will serve in the admissions/observation unit and the ED caring for boarding patients
• Required skills include cardiac telemetry, accessing and managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, central line care and management, heparin protocols, IV insulin protocols, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, PICC line management, pre/post cardiac cath, tracheostomy care and management, wound care and wound vac, and use of rapid response and code teams
• Special equipment includes lift equipment, iPad for communication, and pacemaker interrogation
• Scrubs must be navy blue with no agency or brand logos
• No nose rings or gauged earrings permitted
• Natural fingernails only for direct patient care staff; nails must be less than 1/4 inch in length; polish is acceptable
• Parking is free in any unrestricted space
