Physical Therapist Assistant Job in Spartanburg, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a home health position with SRHS - Spartanburg Regional Post-Acute Services in Spartanburg, SC. This is a 91-day contract beginning April 28, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (5x8 days)
• Weekly pay: $1,670.40
• Daily patient census: 6 patients with 6 visits per day
• Orientation: 16 hours provided

Requirements

• South Carolina PTA license required prior to start date
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of PTA experience
• Home health experience preferred but all PTA experience considered
• Compliance documents due 5 business days before start date
• Lab work must be completed within 24 hours after signing

Patient Populations and Conditions

You will work with adult and geriatric patients presenting with orthopedic, neurological, wound care, CHF, diabetes, generalized weakness, cardiac, renal, and geriatric conditions. You will use equipment including crutches, gait belts, walkers, prosthetics, and shoulder slings.

Clinical Background

This role draws on skills developed across acute care, outpatient clinic, rehabilitation hospital, and skilled nursing facility settings. You will have access to an interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, interpretation services, social services, pharmacy, and transportation support.

Expectations

• Complete all RTO (Return to Office) requests on initial submission
• Guaranteed hours based on signed agreement
• Attendance policy: missing more than two shifts per 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract cancellation
