Opportunity:

PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant Rehab

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Home health experience preferred but will consider all PTA experience
• Must have minimum 1 year of experience
• SC PTA license required - must obtain prior to starting
• BLS certification required
• Guaranteed hours based on hours signed
• Complete 16 hours of orientation
• See approximately 6 patients per day with daily census of 6
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Treat patients with ortho, neuro, wounds, CHF, diabetes, generalized weakness, cardiac, renal, and geriatric conditions
• Experience required with acute care, outpatient clinic, rehabilitation hospital, and skilled nursing facility settings
• Must be proficient with equipment including crutches, gait belts, prosthetics, walkers, and shoulder slings
• Handle conditions such as hip/knee replacements, spinal surgeries, stroke rehabilitation, Parkinson's disease, and traumatic brain injuries
• Strict attendance policy - missing more than two shifts per 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract cancellation
• All requested time off must be included on initial submission
• Must complete lab work within 24 hours after signing
• Compliance documents due 5 business days prior to start date
