Pediatric Respiratory Therapist Job in Morgantown, WV

WVU Medicine Golisano Children's Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist to join the Sleep Lab department on the 10th Floor Neuro Sleep Lab. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 5, 2026.

Position Overview

You will work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, performing sleep studies on medically complex pediatric patients in an acute care setting. Your responsibilities include conducting sleep studies in the Sleep Evaluation Center, at the bedside, and in critical care areas, with an expected volume of approximately 2 tests per shift. You will chart using EPIC and work with Respironics, ResMed, and Natus sleep software.

Schedule and Requirements

• Weekend and holiday shifts required as scheduled
• First to float when floating is required
• Cancellation policy allows up to 2 shifts per 13-week contract
• Scrub color required: Caribbean Blue

Credentials and Experience

• West Virginia Licensed Respiratory Therapist Registered (LRTR) or Licensed Respiratory Therapist Certified (LRTC) required
• Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) via BRPT verification required
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC verification required
• Preferred candidates hold both RPSGT and RRT credentials

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,566.08.
