Job Details:

• Night shift position working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend-only position
• Work any holidays that fall on scheduled days
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiology required
• Less than 1 year of CT experience preferred
• Required certifications: ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R), ARRT Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT), and BLS (AHA), ARC BLS, or BLS Instructor
• Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Perform a wide variety of CT imaging procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative
• Verify clinician orders, obtain clinical history, and assess for contraindicating conditions prior to procedures
• Administer contrast media following established procedures and protocols
• Demonstrate proficiency with loading and operating power injector
• Maintain competency with venipuncture
• Review CT images for clinically acceptable results and release patients
• Ensure proper patient identification using 2 unique identifiers prior to performing procedures
• Send completed studies to PACS immediately after completion and complete all studies in RIS before PACS
• Transport, position, and assist patients on and off the procedure table
• Apply shielding, supportive, and immobilization devices and equipment
• Maintain Joint Commission standards and all other applicable regulatory agency standards
• Take call when necessary
• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs
• Must be able to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Must be detail-oriented with strong multitasking and prioritization skills
• Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills with physicians, patients, and staff
