Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech

Job Details:

• Work 36-40 hours per week with negotiable start and end times
• Highly skilled and experienced surgical tech required with a wide breadth of experience in orthopedic, neuro, vascular, and other surgical specialties
• Approximately every 2nd or 3rd weekend will be a call weekend
• 1-2 call shifts per week required, with potential for increased call volume based on department needs
• All call requires a 30-minute response time from the time of the call to arriving on site
• Holiday call rotation may be required if a holiday falls within the contract period
• May be required to float to General OR and/or the Outpatient Surgery Center during times of low census or high demand
• Must be a graduate of an accredited surgical technology program
• BLS certification required
• CST preferred but not required
• Excellent critical thinking and knowledge of central processing and instrumentation required
• Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week contract
