CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 7 on/7 off schedule (Thursday through Wednesday)
• Every other weekend required
• Occasional holiday rotation with permanent staff
• Call responsibilities required with 30-minute response time (back-up only, always someone in house)
• Call rotation is every 6th week; if off-week rotation falls Monday through Wednesday, call hours are 5:00 PM to 6:00 AM; if off-week rotation falls Thursday through Sunday, call hours vary by day
• Float between Bryan and College Station campus (approximately 16 minutes apart) as needed
• Perform CT scans with and without contrast averaging 16 to 24 scans per day
• Work with 3 GE scanners including one 16-slice and two 64-slice machines
• Experience in ER and inpatient settings required
• Must be able to start IVs
• May be asked to precept as needed
• Charting system: MEDITECH; PACS system: Fuji
• Radiology dosimetry badge provided by unit
• Black scrubs required; not provided by facility
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT (CT)
• Texas MRT license required
