Interventional Radiologic Technician - IR Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Evening call required from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
• Weekend call required from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• On-call required from 17:00 to 07:00
• Weekend call rotation every fourth weekend, with potential for more based on staffing requirements
• Minimum 1 year of experience required, 2 years preferred
• Graduation from an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of Radiologic Technology required
• New York state license required
• BLS certification required
• ARRT certification required
• Patient ratios of 3 to 4 per case, combination of Radiologic Technicians and RNs
• Treat adult patients ages 18 and older
• Administer common drips including Heparin infused Saline
• Potential to float and run C-Arm in OR/ENDO procedures
• Utilize technology including EPIC, PACS, Siemens Artis-Q machines, and PURE Software
