Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Every other weekend requirement - must work every other Saturday and Sunday
• Must work two out of three paired holidays: 11/27 & 11/28, 12/24 & 12/25, and 12/31 & 1/1
• Float required between Methodist, University, Fishers, and Morgan locations
• Minimum 2 years of experience required with 18 months recent ICU experience
• NBRC (RRT) and Indiana license required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, RRT
• Charting system: Cerner (preferred)
• Patient population: Adults and Geriatrics
• First time travelers accepted
• Education must be accredited through CoARC and regionally accredited through CHEA
• Required skills include: Adult Critical Care, BiPAP, CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Intubation Assist, Tracheostomy care/management, Weaning from mechanical ventilation, Drawing arterial blood gases, Extubation, Oral/nasal Suctioning, Sputum specimen collection, and Troubleshooting high pressure alarms
