OT - Therapy Rehab Inpatient

Job Details:

• Two scheduling options available: 5x8 shifts, Days, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Friday through Tuesday, OR 4x10 shifts, Days, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM Friday through Monday
• This is a weekend option position - every weekend is required
• Pre-approved time off: two days allowed
• Minimum 1 year of experience required - no new graduates
• Experience in an Inpatient Rehab Facility strongly preferred; strong acute care background considered in lieu of inpatient rehab experience
• First-time travelers accepted if candidate has an Inpatient Rehab background
• Primarily neurological patient population with high prevalence of stroke diagnosis
• Additional common diagnoses include Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, amputation, cancer, and debility
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Unit census of 39 beds/rooms
• Interdisciplinary support includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Unit Secretary
• Travelers may be floated to other campuses as needed
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Required certifications: NBCOT and BLS
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius
