Opportunity:

OT - Therapy Rehab Acute Care

Job Details:

• 5x8 shift schedule, working 8 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Weekends included on rotation with 4-5 weekend shifts per contract
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First time travelers accepted pending experience in an acute care setting
• Community hospital experience required
• Patient caseload of 10-11 patients with a productivity goal of 1 patient per worked hour (minimum 8 patients seen over an 8-hour workday)
• Treat patients across a variety of diagnoses including orthopedics, neurology, neurosurgery, cardiac, vascular, surgical, chronic disease, and acute medical illness conditions
• Work across multiple units including medical-surgical floors, ICU/CCU, post-op, emergency department, gero-psych, and behavioral health
• Treat patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, NBCOT
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Skills required include acute care, adaptive equipment assessment, amputee care, cognitive assessment, CVA rehabilitation, coma management, dementia/Alzheimer's care, hip and knee replacement, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, standardized assessment, and upper extremity treatment
• Travelers may be floated to other campuses as needed
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius
