OR Circulator RN Job in Springfield, VT

You will work as an Operating Room Circulator RN at Springfield Hospital in Springfield, Vermont. This 91-day travel assignment begins November 9, 2026, with a schedule of 5 days per week, 8-hour days.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform circulator duties with focus on orthopedic surgical procedures
• Support general surgery services including abdominal organ procedures, soft tissue mass surgeries, and traumatic injury repairs
• Assist with procedures such as colonoscopy, upper GI endoscopy, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, soft tissue mass excision, hernia repairs, excisional biopsies, hemorrhoid procedures, oncologic surgery for breast or colon cancer, antireflux surgery, and skin grafting

Schedule Details:

• On-call requirement of 10 shifts per month, including 1 weekend (Friday/Saturday and Sunday 24-hour shifts) and rotating holidays
• Call hours run 3:30 PM through 7:00 AM Monday through Thursday
• Weekend requirement of 1 weekend per month, Friday through Monday, with holidays required as needed
• Must be available for at least two holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving Day and surrounding dates, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after, or New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and weekend after

Requirements:

• Current RN license for Vermont or Compact license
• Minimum 2+ years of current OR experience in a hospital setting
• Minimum 3 months of travel healthcare experience
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Operating Room skills checklist current within 1 year
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years
• Personal vehicle required for this assignment
• Bachelor's degree preferred
