Special Procedures Technologist Job in Port St Lucie, FL

Cleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital is hiring a Special Procedures Technologist for Interventional Radiology and Cardiology. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting July 27, 2026.

Assignment Details

• Shift: 4×10 days per week
• Weekly pay: $2,556
• Guaranteed 40 hours for 8/10 shifts or 36 hours for 3×12 shifts
• On-call required: once per week and once every 6 weekends
• Floating required to three hospitals within 20 miles (Martin North, Martin South, and Tradition)
• Block scheduling not available

Experience & Credentials Required

• Minimum 18 months interventional radiology experience; 2 years preferred
• ARRT certification and Florida state license required
• AHA ACLS and BLS required
• RCIS certification preferred
• Cath/EP experience preferred, as you may float to cardiac procedures
• Pending licenses accepted
• First-time travelers welcome

Required Skills

• Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization
• Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) and PTCA
• Left and right heart catheterization
• Cardiac implant closure devices and stent placement
• IABP placement and removal
• Rotablator atherectomy
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
• Scrub and circulator procedures with sterile field maintenance
• Equipment setup and operation
• EPIC charting system experience

Onboarding & Requirements

• Time-sensitive modules must be prioritized upon assignment confirmation (6–15 hours each, completed pre-start and annually)
• EKG and pharmacology tests required during orientation (maximum 2 attempts each)

• All requested time off must be submitted at application; no additions reviewed after submission
