MRI Technologist Job in Omaha, NE

CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 26, 2026. You will work a rotating schedule of 3x12-hour shifts, with days varying between 7:00 AM and 7:30 PM. Weekend and holiday availability is required, along with on-call/standby coverage to support overnight staff during PTO or sick leave.

Your Role

You will perform a wide range of MRI studies daily, including cardiac, breast, and angio imaging, averaging 35–40 scans per day. Your work remains exclusively within the MRI department with no floating to other areas. You will operate Siemens equipment across three rooms: Aera 1.5T, Trio 3T, and Espree 1.5T scanners. You will use EPIC and McKesson PACS systems for charting and imaging documentation, and start IVs as required for applicable studies.

Requirements

• Current BLS (AHA) certification
• Current ARRT (MR) certification
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Weekend and holiday availability
• On-call/standby coverage capability

What to Expect

You will receive one week of flexible orientation and training upon arrival. Gray scrubs are required but not provided by the facility. Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments. This is a 91-day assignment offering a weekly pay rate of $2,332.80.
