Special Procedures Technologist Job in Baltimore, MD

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Allied Health Professional Special Procedures Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore, MD. This role offers a 4x10 day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with on-call responsibilities every 6th weekend.

About the Role:

You will work in Interventional Radiology, performing a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Your responsibilities include angiography, angioplasty, embolization, PICC line placement, IVC filter placement and removal, nephrostomy, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and liver biopsy. You will provide central venous access including non-tunneled and PICC lines, port placement, and care and maintenance. Additional duties include biliary drainage, cholecystostomy, gastrostomy tube placement, ureteral stent placement, and chest tube placement.

You will maintain the sterile field as both room circulator and scrub technologist, working with PACS and Philips imaging systems. The patient population consists of adults and geriatrics, with a 1:1 patient ratio.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology
• Completion of at least 1 prior travel assignment
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• ARRT VI certification
• Maryland State License
• Proficiency with Interventional Radiology, Special Procedures, and Fluoroscopy
• Experience with Cerner charting system

Compensation and Details:

Weekly pay is $2,910. The assignment begins November 2, 2026, and runs for 91 days. Scrubs are provided by the facility.
