Special Procedures Technologist in Leonardtown, MD

Join MedStar Saint Marys Hospital as a Special Procedures Technologist in our Interventional Radiology department. This 91-day travel assignment offers day shift hours with flexibility in scheduling options.

Schedule & Compensation

• 5x8 hours days (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) or 4x10 hours available
• 40 hours per week
• $3,101 weekly pay
• On-call rotation Monday–Friday 4:00 PM–9:00 PM and Saturday–Sunday 9:00 AM–2:00 PM, rotating among 4 technologists

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Minimum 2 years Interventional Radiology experience
• At least 1 completed travel assignment
• ARRT R certification and Maryland State License required
• ACLS certification required
• ARRT VI certification preferred
• Community hospital experience required
• Cerner charting system experience required

Core Responsibilities

• Assist with interventional radiology and special procedures
• Support angioplasty, IVC filter placement and removal
• Operate fluoroscopy and Siemens equipment
• Prepare access sites and maintain sterile fields
• Apply sterile technique throughout procedures
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
