CVOR Technologist Job in Silverdale, Washington

St Michael Medical Center is seeking a Surgical Tech to join our cardiothoracic and vascular operating room team in Silverdale, Washington. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 2, 2026.

Position Overview

You will work 3x12-hour day shifts in our 7 main operating room suites, where the team manages 22–45 cases daily across multiple specialties. Your responsibilities include scrubbing cases, handling add-ons (approximately 35–40% of daily volume), and supporting diverse surgical procedures. Common cases include general surgery, bowel resection, robotic surgery, gynecology, urology, TURP, cystoscopy, lithotripsy, bariatric, and plastic surgery. CVOR technologists may float to the main OR, and main OR staff may float to vascular cases when experience permits. The facility does not perform neurological cases.

Scheduling and Call Requirements

Your core schedule is Monday through Friday, 3x12-hour day shifts. You will be required to maintain call availability of 5–6 call days per assignment period. Call hours run 9:00 PM to 6:30 AM the following morning, with a 30-minute response time. Weekend call includes two rotation options: Call 1 covers 12-hour days and Call 2 covers 12-hour nights. Holiday coverage operates on a rotational basis. Block scheduling is permitted.

Facility and Support

St Michael Medical Center is a Level 3 trauma facility handling both inpatient and outpatient cases. The facility uses EPIC as its electronic medical record system. You will receive one week of floor-specific orientation. Scrubs are provided by the hospital.

Requirements and Certifications

You must hold a Washington state license and current BLS certification. National certification is not required. An associate degree or allied health credential is required for this role.

Compensation and Details

Weekly pay is $1,910.04. The assignment runs 91 days with a start date of November 2, 2026.
