Burn ICU RN Job in Austell, GA

Cobb Hospital is seeking an RN for our Burn ICU in Austell, GA. This is a night shift position working 3x12 hours (6:45 PM to 7:15 AM) for a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 25, 2026. Weekly pay is $1,828.

About the Role

You will deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care in our Burn ICU inpatient setting. Your responsibilities include performing the full nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation—while adapting care to meet population-specific needs. You will partner with patients and their families using clear communication, participate in interdisciplinary rounds, and coordinate safe, quality care as part of our healthcare team. You may float to the Burn unit as needed to support patient care demands.

Additional expectations include participating in performance improvement activities and shared governance, serving as a preceptor or mentor to other nurses and students, and upholding all hospital policies, procedures, clinical competencies, and TJC Patient Safety Goals.

Required Qualifications

• RN license (single state or multi-state compact)
• Associate's Degree, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• BLS (AHA or ARC) certification
• ACLS certification required within 180 days of hire
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies with composure and decisiveness
• Excellent time management, critical thinking, and analytical skills
• Basic computer skills and ability to use technology to support clinical care
