X-Ray Technician

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - X-Ray Tech

Job Details:

• 13 or 26 week contract options available
• Night shift schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• No on-call requirements
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred; 1 year accepted with full-time Level 1 trauma and Children's Hospital experience with demonstrated OR and fluoroscopic study experience
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Required certifications: ARRT (R), BLS
• Active SCRQSA license required; pending licenses not accepted
• Epic EMR experience required (minimum 1 year)
• Skilled in acute care imaging including ER, ICU, NICU, PICU, and OR
• Proficient in bedside/portable X-ray, trauma imaging, C-arm procedures, and fluoroscopic studies such as barium swallow and esophagram
• Must be able to perform all aspects of X-ray independently
• Floating required to other units and campuses based on census and only to units for which competencies have been demonstrated and documented
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• All RTO, block, and special scheduling requests must be included at time of submission
