Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 13-week contract assignment on a Neuro Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 4 weekend shifts per schedule required
• No on-call requirements
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• 30-bed unit located on Floor 5 Central
• Work with equipment including Welch Allyn Vital Signs monitors, COWs, Hoyer lift, PCA pumps, CareView Virtual Sitter, Telepsych, and Teleneuro
• EMR system: Meditech
• Perform typical procedures including Stroke NIH assessments, EEGs, gastric decompression, and wound care
• Required certifications: BLS, NIH
• Preferred certification: ACLS
• Navy scrubs required
• Hoop nose piercings not allowed
• Team-oriented and self-motivated personality preferred
