Job Details:

• Care for post-operative cardiac and thoracic patients in a stepdown unit setting
• Monitor and manage patients transitioning from higher levels of care following cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures
• Assess and respond to changes in patient condition, providing timely interventions as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and recovery
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care, recovery expectations, and discharge planning
