RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 4 ten-hour day shifts per week, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Call coverage responsibility approximately 10 shifts per month, including rotating weekends and holidays
• Weekend call coverage runs Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
• Call shifts run Monday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Holidays covered by call from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
• Rotate between Cath Lab and pre/post patient care areas
• May be floated to Non-Invasive Cardiovascular unit to start IVs as needed
• Work as part of a 3-person team consisting of 2 RNs and 1 tech
• Handle all cardiac adult cases including peripheral procedures, cardiac catheterization, PCI, and device implantation (ICD and pacemakers - no EP or ablations)
• Average 4 to 5 cases per day with a range of 2 to 9 cases
• Utilize EPIC and Cupid charting systems with Xper dynamics equipment
• Work with Phillips telemetry system hardwired at the bedside
• Familiarity with Acist injector preferred and experience with IABP and IVUS required
• Navy blue scrubs provided for RNs
• Cardiology on-call support available 24/7
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• BSN not required
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
• Acute care setting
