Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Travel experience required
• ARDMS certification required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Perform a wide range of ultrasound procedures including abdomen, aorta, appendix, biliary tract, bladder, breast, carotid, duplex, gallbladder, hernia, liver, pancreas, renal/bladder, and thyroid studies
• Perform vascular studies including lower and upper extremity arterial and venous imaging
• Perform OB/GYN studies including fetal anatomical surveys, transvaginal, uterus, ovaries, and vaginal ultrasounds
• Perform interventional procedures including breast cyst aspiration, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and ultrasound-guided biopsy/fine needle aspiration
• Perform specialty studies including prostate, testicles/scrotum, and superficial masses
• Support emergency department ultrasound needs and portable studies
• Perform breast biopsies as a special procedure
• On-call requirement may include one weekend (24 hours) per month and a few overnight shifts (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM) per schedule if permanent staff do not pick up the shifts
• Interpretation services available as interdisciplinary support
• 8 hours of orientation provided
