ICU Registered Nurse Job in Pittsfield, MA

Berkshire Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a temporary position in the Intensive Care Unit. This is a night shift role offering competitive weekly compensation of $2,481 for a 91-day assignment beginning November 9, 2026.

Position Details

• Shift: 3x12 nights per week
• Unit size: 20 beds with 1:2 patient ratio
• Non-billable orientation period included
• Weekend and holiday availability required as scheduled
• No on-call responsibilities
• Potential to float to PCU as needed
• Block scheduling not available
• Personal scrubs of any color permitted

Required Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN license
• Minimum 2 years of current Critical Care experience
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications
• Skills checklist for Critical Care current within one year
• Experience with ventilators, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment
• Personal vehicle required

Preferred Qualifications

• Meditech Expanse experience
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Holiday Requirements

You must work at least two of the following holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after with the weekend after; Christmas Eve through Christmas Day with the weekend after; New Year's Eve through New Year's Day with the weekend after.
