ICU Registered Nurse Job in Attleboro, MA

You'll join Sturdy Health's 14-bed ICU as a Registered Nurse on a 13-week night shift contract. This is a 4x12 position starting October 26, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,714.

The Role

You will care for medically complex adult patients in a stable unit assignment—you will not typically float out of the ICU. Your patient ratio is 1:2 across all shifts and weekends. You'll manage patients with diagnoses including alcohol withdrawal, acute respiratory distress, COPD, GI bleed, drug overdose, and occasional surgical cases (VATS). Daily responsibilities include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, pulmonary artery line and Swan Ganz monitoring, continuous IV sedation, and procedural sedation administration and monitoring. You'll care for vented patients on pressors, manage a-lines and chest tubes, and work with ARDS patients. Weekend coverage is required.

Unit Support

The ICU serves as both the code team and rapid response team. Intensivists are available during day shifts, while Nurse Practitioners support night shifts. You'll have access to interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and pharmacy.

What You'll Bring

• Massachusetts RN license (required)
• Current ACLS, BLS, and CCRN certifications
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Travel healthcare experience
• Telemetry experience (required)
• CERNER experience (preferred but not required)

You'll work in a collaborative environment with experienced clinicians and structured physician/APP coverage throughout your shift.
