About this role

Join Memorial Health's 36-bed Emergency Department as a Registered Nurse on a 91-day travel assignment. You will deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced setting, working three 12-hour night shifts per week at $2,098 weekly.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive and focused assessments of patients presenting with emergent, urgent, or non-urgent conditions
  • Perform triage using evidence-based protocols to determine acuity levels and initiate appropriate care
  • Deliver rapid intervention and stabilization for patients experiencing medical, surgical, traumatic, psychiatric, and pediatric emergencies
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with hospital policy and provider orders
  • Operate and monitor medical equipment including cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, ventilators, and point-of-care testing devices
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, EMS personnel, and healthcare team members
  • Coordinate patient care including diagnostic testing, re-evaluation, disposition planning, and patient education
  • Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic medical record
  • Participate in rapid response, trauma activations, code blue, stroke, and STEMI protocols as required
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control, safety guidelines, and hospital standards

Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma or compact license
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
  • TNCC and ENPC certifications preferred
  • Prior experience in Emergency Nursing, Critical Care, or high-acuity settings preferred
  • Strong critical thinking, rapid decision-making, and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and focused during high-stress situations
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
