NICU RN Job in McKinney, TX

You will work as an RN in the NICU at Medical City McKinney, providing specialized care for neonates in a Level III unit. This is a 13-week travel assignment with a start date of June 29, 2026.

Schedule and Hours

• 3x12 night shifts (7 PM to 7 AM)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend shift schedule
• No on-call requirements
• Self-scheduling with floating as needed

Clinical Details

• Work on the 2nd Floor NICU unit in the Main Hospital
• 2:3 patient ratio in a 7-bed unit
• Attend deliveries, including C-Sections
• Hands-on experience with BCPAP and HFNC equipment
• Work with Meditech and CPN documentation systems

Requirements

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2+ years hospital or specialty experience
• Level III NICU experience required
• BLS and NRP certifications
• Meditech experience preferred

Compensation

Weekly pay: $1,971

Dress Code and Appearance Policy

• Royal blue and/or white scrubs required
• Clean and healthy nails only; no artificial, gel, or next-gen nails
• Hair must be neat, clean, and pulled back if shoulder length or longer; no extreme styles or colors
• Body art should be covered whenever possible
• Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited, including nose rings and tongue rings
