NICU RN Job in Webster, TX

HCA Houston Clear Lake is seeking an RN for their 42-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) on a 13-week travel assignment. You will work the night shift, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., three days per week at $1,839.60 weekly.

Unit Overview

The NICU maintains a staffing model of one charge nurse, 10–15 RNs, and one Patient Care Technician per shift. Patient ratios are acuity-based: Level 3 acuity patients are 1:3 nurse-to-patient, and Level 2 acuity patients are 3–4 per nurse.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a neonatal intensive care setting
• Perform IV starts and assist with PICC insertions (trained clinicians only)
• Manage care of patients with central lines, including UAC, UVC, Broviacs, and PICCs
• Float to the newborn nursery as needed
• Assume occasional on-call responsibilities
• Work a minimum of four weekend shifts per schedule

Equipment and Systems

You will work with isolettes, OMNI beds, phototherapy units, and computers. The unit uses Meditech and CPN electronic medical record systems.

Requirements

• Active RN licensure
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• STABLE certification preferred
• Experience with central lines preferred
• Royal blue scrubs required

Resource staff will be available on the unit to support your work. The assignment begins June 22, 2026.
