NICU RN Job in Austin, TX

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the NICU at St. David's Medical Center in Austin, Texas. This is a 13-week contract assignment beginning July 30, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• Day shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• Four weekend shifts per schedule required
• On-call required
• Weekly pay: $1,985

The Role

You will provide direct patient care in a 65-bed NICU unit staffed by more than 200 clinical team members. Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 4:1 depending on acuity and census. You will work with equipment including isolettes, ventilators, feeding pumps, IV pumps, and breast pumps. The unit uses Meditech and CPN electronic medical record systems.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience
• 2 years of Level 4 NICU experience preferred
• Navy scrubs required
