Job Details:

• Weekends required (Friday and Saturday)
• Possible on-call responsibilities
• Coordinate patient care delivery using nursing professional practice model focused on specific patient populations and health conditions
• Assess patients, identify nursing diagnoses, develop and implement individualized plans of care, and evaluate patient responses
• Utilize knowledge of patient needs and healthcare environment to assist patients through healthcare encounters without preventable complications or delays
• Delegate interventions to healthcare personnel based on the Texas Nursing Practice Act, patient condition, and employee competencies
• 2+ years of current Level III or Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience required
• Must have sufficient HIE, surfactant administration, and PICC line experience
• EPIC experience required
• Active Texas or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: NRP, BLS (AHA)
• NICU-specific skills checklist required
• 2 supervisory references from within the last year required
