ED RN Job in Grand Junction, CO

Community Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado is seeking a full-time RN for the Emergency Room. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting July 27, 2026, with a rotating schedule that includes both nights and days. You will earn $2,233.80 per week.

Your Role

You will deliver patient and family-centered care using the nursing process while providing developmentally appropriate, culturally sensitive, and evidence-based care. You will communicate and advocate for patient values, preferences, and expressed needs as part of care plan implementation and evaluation. You will apply communication practices that minimize risks across transitions of care and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in shared decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate best current evidence with clinical expertise and patient and family preferences for optimal health care delivery
• Participate in quality improvement activities including Root Cause Analyses, Apparent Cause Analyses, and Interdisciplinary Meetings
• Utilize outcome data at the patient level to make care decisions
• Communicate observations or concerns related to unsafe situations posing risk to patients, families, or the healthcare team
• Navigate and document in the EMR to support patient care and clinical decision-making
• Participate in shared governance activities and professional development opportunities
• Support precepting and education of orientees, peers, and students

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• BLS certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association with at least 3 months remaining before expiration
