Med Surg RN Job in Anniston, AL

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical position at RMC Anniston in Anniston, Alabama. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 14, 2026.

Position Details

• Shift: 3x12 nights with every other weekend requirement (4x12 option available)
• Weekly pay: $1,932
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6
• Patient population: Adults and geriatrics
• Float to like units as needed; possible charge nurse responsibilities on an as-needed basis

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• IV starts, isolation precautions, wound care, and wound vac management
• Blood product administration, colostomy and ileostomy management
• Feeding tube care and management, heparin and insulin administration
• Nasal cannula and oxygen administration, PCA pump management
• Peripheral line care, PICC line management, surgical drains
• Medical-Surgical and Telemetry experience
• Charting system experience required
• Alabama nursing license required
• BLS (AHA) and Fit Test certifications required

Preferred Qualifications

• Level II Trauma experience
• Travel nursing experience
• Previous charge nurse experience
• NIHSS certification

Support Available

You will have access to interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams. A 30-minute lunch break is required daily with no skipped meals.
