ICU Intensive Care Unit RN Job in Pittsfield, MA

Berkshire Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a temporary assignment in their 20-bed Critical Care Unit. You will work days on a 3x12 schedule, caring for patients with a 1:2 ratio in a fast-paced, acute-care environment.

Position Details

• Location: Pittsfield, MA
• Shift: 3x12 Days
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: August 17, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,410.56

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Critical Care Unit
• Monitor patients on ventilators and hemodynamic support
• Perform ICP monitoring and manage complex critical care patients
• Float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed
• Weekend and holiday availability required
• No on-call responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts RN license
• Minimum 2 years of current Critical Care experience
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications
• Ventilator, ICP Monitoring, and Hemodynamic Monitoring experience
• Skills checklist for Critical Care current within 1 year
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years
• Own vehicle required—firm requirement
• Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility

Preferred Qualifications

• Meditech Expanse experience
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

• All requested time off must be submitted at upload; no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted, and no requests approved after upload or during interview
