ICU Registered Nurse Job in Pittsfield, MA

Berkshire Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for its 20-bed Intensive Care Unit. This is a temporary position with a duration of 91 days, starting August 24, 2026. You will work the night shift on a 3x12 schedule at $2,410.56 per week.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a critical care environment with a 1:2 patient ratio
• Monitor and manage patients requiring ventilator support, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Float to the Progressive Care Unit as needed
• Weekend and holiday availability required as needed
• No on-call responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN license
• Minimum 2 years of current critical care experience
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications
• Skills checklist in critical care current within one year
• Personal vehicle required for transportation to the facility
• One supervisory-signed reference from within the past two years of employment

Preferred Qualifications

• Meditech Expanse experience
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
