CVOR RN Job in Harrisburg, PA

You'll work as an RN in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) at Central - UPMC Harrisburg. This is a 91-day travel position with a start date of August 30, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 3 days per week on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule
• 36 estimated hours per week
• $2,805 weekly pay

Requirements

• RN license required; BSN preferred
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, PA Act 73 certifications and licenses

Your Role

You will manage patient care for assigned groups in the CVOR setting, working independently and collaboratively with the care team. You'll formulate daily goals and individualized plans of care using a holistic approach, demonstrating critical thinking to identify clinical, social, safety, psychological, and spiritual needs.

You will set standards for the level and quality of nursing care delivered to your patients and their families. Collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers will be central to achieving desired patient outcomes. You'll utilize research and evidence-based practice to support improvements in clinical care and provide detailed, appropriate patient and family education throughout each episode of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and provide patient care activities for assigned patient groups

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to achieve positive outcomes
• Provide comprehensive patient and family education
