Cath Lab Technologist Job in Des Moines, IA

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center, supporting a dynamic cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology department. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning April 27, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• Four days per week, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call shifts required—eight shifts per month
• Weekly pay: $3,031.60

Your Role

You will assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, with specific focus on electrophysiology operations. Your responsibilities include:

• Support electrophysiology procedures and cardiac catheterization lab operations
• Operate specialized cardiovascular equipment and monitoring systems
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout procedures
• Prepare and manage equipment and supplies for diagnostic and interventional cases

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional degree
• EP (Electrophysiology) specific experience or some EP experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
