OR RN Job in St Petersburg, FL

Join HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. This 91-day travel assignment offers you the opportunity to work in a dynamic surgical environment with a dedicated team of 30 professionals including Certified Surgical Technicians, Nurses, Aides, and leadership.

Position Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts in a 7 OR suite unit
• Variable call schedule required
• Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
• 1:1 patient ratio in the operating room

Clinical Requirements:

You must have solid experience across multiple surgical specialties: GYN, Urology, General, Robotics, and Ortho. Candidates without experience in these areas will not be considered. Preferred experience includes robotic-assisted procedures for GYN, urology, and general cases. You will perform a variety of procedures including cystoscopy, breast surgery, knee scopes, and total joint replacements, working with specialty-specific equipment throughout your shifts.

Work Environment:

You will use the Meditech EMR system and wear ciel blue surgical scrubs as part of the hospital's standard dress code. The OR operates as a collaborative team, so flexibility and strong communication skills are essential.
