OR Registered Nurse Job in Arlington, VA

Virginia Hospital Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in the Operating Room. This is a day shift role scheduled 4x10 hours, offering $2,971 weekly compensation.

Position Details:

• 13-week assignment in the Operating Room
• 4x10 day shift schedule
• On-call requirement: 3–4 call shifts every 6 weeks, 8 hours each
• Must reside within 30 miles or 30 minutes from campus for on-call availability

Requirements:

• Active Virginia or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience
• Current BLS certification
• Ortho skills required
• EPIC experience required (OP TIME – OR module); you must provide documentation of months of EPIC experience within the past year
• Level II Trauma center experience preferred, with exposure to trauma, neuro, and ortho spine cases

Additional Information:

• Floating, if required, will be in rotation with staff in accordance with facility policies and Joint Commission standards
• Smoke/nicotine-free facility

You will work at a Level II Trauma center supporting a range of surgical specialties. Your OR experience and ortho skills are essential to this role. The facility uses EPIC for OR documentation, so familiarity with the OP TIME module is mandatory.
