PACU RN Job in Santa Fe, New Mexico

CHRISTUS St Vincent Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) on a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 14, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• Work 4 rotating 10-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• 2 weekend call shifts of 12 hours per month (Saturday/Sunday counts as 1 weekend)
• One night call shift per week required
• Floating within surgical services required

Your Role

You will coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age of the patient population served. Your responsibilities include obtaining and recording initial assessments, establishing priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs, and reassessing patients systematically to identify progress and trends requiring intervention. You will develop and implement individualized, measurable plans of care within established nursing standards, make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of facts and patient outcome evaluations, and participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning. You will implement and document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs and perform various Point of Care testing procedures.

Requirements

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
• Current BLS certification via American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification via American Heart Association
• Current PALS certification via American Heart Association
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program

Facility Details

The facility uses the EPIC electronic medical record system. Dress code is Graphite Gray Scrubs.

Compensation

Weekly pay: $2,403.
