PACU RN Job in Santa Fe, New Mexico

CHRISTUS St Vincent Regional Medical Center is seeking an RN for our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) on a travel assignment. You'll work day shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM on a rotating schedule of 4, 10-hour shifts, with a weekly pay of $2,430. The assignment is 91 days, starting August 17, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• 4x10 day shifts
• 2 weekend shifts (12-hour call shifts) required per month, with Saturday and Sunday counting as 1 weekend
• One night on-call shift required per week
• Full-time position

Your Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age of the patient population served
• Obtain and record initial assessments and establish priorities according to patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
• Reassess patients systematically to identify progress and trends that require intervention
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients
• Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of facts and evaluations of patient outcomes
• Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning
• Implement and document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs
• Perform various Point of Care testing procedures
• Use EPIC electronic medical records system
• May be required to float to other units within surgical services

Requirements

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
• BLS (AHA) certification
• ACLS (AHA) certification
• PALS (AHA) certification

Additional Information

Dress code requires Graphite Gray Scrubs. You'll be part of a surgical services team committed to providing comprehensive postoperative care and supporting patients through their recovery phase.
