Job Details:

• Primarily CT scanning required with X-ray experience also needed
• Perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and critical thinking
• Apply appropriate skills to facilitate diagnosis with initiative and critical thinking
• May be assigned independent responsibilities including supervision or instruction of department personnel
• Perform primary diagnostic Radiology and CT Scan tasks including IV insertion and injections
• Demonstrate proper operation of PACS, HIS, and RIS computer systems
• Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, CT, and PACS applications
• Maintain patient confidentiality and practice infection control in compliance with departmental, hospital, and OSHA standards
• Excellent communication skills in written, verbal, and Tiger Text format required
• Maintain department competencies and complete annual mandatory education requirements
• Willing to consider other duties during low census periods within scope of practice
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment
• Holidays required if needed
• 2 years of current CT/X-ray experience required
• Previous travel experience preferred (at least 6 months or more)
• Current agency experience of at least 6 months to 1 year required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Required certifications: ARRT (CT and R), BLS (AHA)
• Massachusetts Radiology License required
• Skills Checklist for X-Ray Tech and Computed Tomography/CT Tech current within 1 year required
