PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care

RN - PICU

Job Details:

• Night shift position working 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• No call requirements
• 12-bed Pediatric ICU unit
• Patient ratios: ICU status 2:1, intubated patients 1:1, pediatric status 3:1
• Care for patients including trauma, burn, neurosurgery, pediatric surgery, respiratory, sepsis, endocrinology, chronic/trach, hematology/oncology, and orthopedic cases
• Float requirements include working in NICU, PICU, pediatric medical floor, or Pediatric ED based on patient volumes
• Night shift orientation takes place on day shift and must be available the entire orientation week
• EMR system: EPIC
• Dress code: Black scrubs required; jeans and unprofessional attire are not acceptable
• Minimum 2 years of PICU experience required
• Vent competency required
• Must have at least 1 year of post-orientation experience
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA only), PALS (AHA only), TNCC
• Current Missouri RN license or eligibility for Missouri licensure required
