Respiratory Therapist Job in Rock Island, IL

UnityPoint-Trinity Rock Island is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a temporary position. You will provide clinical expertise in patient care as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team, working evenings on a 5x8 shift schedule.

Position Details

• Shift: 5x8 evenings, every other weekend
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: September 21, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,571
• No on-call responsibilities
• EMR system: EPIC

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical respiratory care and management services to patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
• May float across local campuses within your discipline

Requirements

• Active Illinois respiratory therapist license at time of submission
• Iowa single-state license required; if not active, proof of application must be provided at offer acceptance
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist/RRT experience
• Current certifications: NRP, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
• Valid driver's license
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (based on driver's license address)
• Respiratory Therapist/RRT-specific skills checklist required
• Professional reference from charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within 24 months preferred
