PCU Registered Nurse Job in Federal Way, WA

St Francis Hospital - Federal Way is hiring a Registered Nurse for their 24-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This is a 91-day travel assignment starting November 9, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,507.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM with flexibility to day shifts
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday requirement: 2 of the winter holidays
• Standby possible if extra staff is available
• Hospital may cancel up to 3 shifts for this assignment

Role Details

• Patient ratios of 1:3–4 with nurse aide support at 1:10 ratio
• 24/7 charge nurse and house supervisor on duty
• Floating requirement within Region I to other facilities as needed
• Must titrate drips including Amiodarone, Diltiazem, Dopamine, Nitroglycerin, Lasix, and Dobutamine
• Common patient diagnoses: Pneumonia, ARDS, HTN Urgency, Angina, cardiac cath patients, and ETOH Withdrawal
• RT equipment available: CPAP, BiPAP, High Flow Oxygen
• Remote monitor techs available with RN approval for telemetry

Requirements

• PCU experience required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• BSN not required
